I am not a vegetarian because I love animals. I am a vegetarian because I hate plants.

Nepaliko Fact

Oceans contain springs. Until recently, it was thought that oceans were fed only by rivers and rain. Yet in the 1970s, with the help of deep diving research submarines that were constructed to withstand 6,000 pounds-per-square-inch pressure, oceanographers discovered springs on the ocean floors!

WHAT IS MESOTHELIOMA?

Mesothelioma is the deadliest form of cancer caused by the inhalation of asbestos fibers. The asbestos fibers cause the cells of the mesothelium (also known as Epithelium) to become abnormal and begin to multiply uncontrollably, resulting to cancer. These cells break off and spread to other parts of the body, causing further damage to organs and tissues. Mesothelioma is one of the deadliest diseases known to man; the average life span of an inflicted person from the time of diagnosis until death is less than 24 months. This disease mainly affects workers working in factories, at shipyards, in mines, pipe fitters, steel workers, and auto mechanics.
Signs and symptoms of mesothelioma usually do not appear until 30+ years after exposure to asbestos. Early stages of mesothelioma are similar to pneumonia.
The following is a list of common signs and symptoms of mesothelioma:
•  Dyspnoea
•  Swelling of abdomen/chest, neck or face
•  Chest pain
•  Persistent cough
•  Fever
•  Weight loss
•  Difficulty swallowing
But like any other cancers and other live taking diseases, Mesothelioma is a disease that is almost 100% preventable; the only known cause is via exposure to the deadly mineral, asbestos. It comes from inhaling the particles of dust as the asbestos degrades; eating away at the lining of your lungs and developing into a deadly cancer. Dust that is inhaled in clouds of white powder, dust that is carried home on the clothes of the men who are in the construction business, dust that is cleaned from the clothes by the wives and children coming in contact with them, dust that is packed around the heating systems in houses and offices and schools.
So give a thought. Your life is at stake here.
Below are more information and other relevant details on Mesothelioma
What is asbestos?
Asbestos is an insulating material that is heat and fire resistant.  In the past, asbestos was used widely in the

• Manufacture of household appliances
• Motor industry
Most cases of mesothelioma occur in men who have worked in manufacturing plants and factories using asbestos or used asbestos products, particularly in construction or engineering.  Mesothelioma may not develop until 15 - 40 years after you have been exposed to asbestos, which is why we are seeing an increase in cases now.  The number of cases is expected to peak around 2018 and then start to decline.
There are three types of asbestos: blue, brown and white.  Blue and brown asbestos are linked with mesothelioma.
How does asbestos cause mesothelioma?
Asbestos is made up of tiny fibers.  You can breathe these fibres in when you come into contact with asbestos.  The fibres work their way into the pleura, lining the lung.  They irritate the pleura and damage the cells that the pleura are made of.  Some of the fibres that have been breathed in can be coughed up and swallowed.  This is probably the cause of peritoneal mesothelioma.
If you have been exposed to asbestos, your family may also have been exposed.  Asbestos fibres can be carried home on your clothes.  Research studies have confirmed.
